Dharani Adhikari Completes AEM Sites DevOps Engineer Certification

There's always lots of good stuff happening at Hoodoo Digital.  We are pleased to announce that Dharani Adhikari has completed the Adobe Certified Expert exam for the Adobe Experience Manager Sites DevOps Engineer.  This exam certifies that he “has proven knowledge and experience to help clients optimize the value of their Adobe solution.”  Adobe provides exam guides that outline the things an individual should be proficient in to pass the exam. 

Adobe Experience Manager Sites DevOps Exam Guide

At a minimum, the candidate seeking to become certified as an Adobe Experience Manager DevOps Engineer has at least one year of experience using and configuring Adobe Cloud Manager, as well as at least two years of experience configuring, implementing, and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tasks. The candidate should be comfortable working in Adobe Managed Services and Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service, and should be able to set up Adobe Experience Manager environments and infrastructure. Familiarity with the following technologies and environments:

• Cloud Manager
• Adobe IO CLI
• Git CLI
• Cloud transition tools
• Dispatcher convertor
• Repository modernizer
• Dev staging and production
• Dev sandbox
• Local environment
  

When we asked Dharani why he wanted to take both certification exams he said: “As a full stack AEM engineer, I mostly spend time doing development work. However, I closely work with DevOps engineers and help troubleshoot issues on AEM servers and dispatchers. As I started learning more about the DevOps side of AEM, I decided to get certified so could officially be able to help DevOps team when they need extra hands.”

Dharani is an AEM Engineer and has been with Hoodoo Digital since July of 2019.  His role is to engage directly with customers, understand their business initiatives, and help the define and build engaging user experiences.  We are very proud of his hard work in completing the certification and are so glad to have him as part of the Hoodoo team.
