Peter Nash • Mar 02, 2021

There's always lots of good stuff happening at Hoodoo Digital. We are pleased to announce that Ken Woodward has completed the Adobe Certified Expert exam for the Adobe Experience Manager Sites DevOps Engineer. This exam certifies that he “has proven knowledge and experience to help clients optimize the value of their Adobe solution.” Adobe provides an exam guide that outlines the things that an Architect should be proficient with in order to pass the exam.

At a minimum, the candidate seeking to become certified as an Adobe Experience Manager Dev/Ops Engineer has:

  • At least 2 years of experience installing, configuring, monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting AEM (V6.3 and higher)
  • Configure Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tasks

Familiarity with the following technologies and environments:

  • Terminal
  • Maven
  • Version control systems (CVS. SVN, git)
  • Text Editor
  • Curl
  • Build and deployment tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis)
  • Unix

Of his desire to get certified, Ken said: “ I had recently done the Dispatcher implementation for a customer and had learned a lot. I had 2 more DevOps implementations in queue with other customers and wanted to improve my understanding so I could be more agile and quick.”

Ken is an AEM Architect and has been with Hoodoo Digital since June of 2019. He has been working with AEM for 10 years in all aspects of its development. Ken currently serves as one of Hoodoo’s Director of Software Engineering. We are very proud of his hard work in completing the certification and are so glad to have him part of the Hoodoo team.
